And

A good Rouge
A good Jubilee
Chill out on Mystique
A good Cyclops
Chill out Charles/Mags kill or don't kill conflict
Not make all the focus on Wolverine

Use villians like
Omega Red
Sinister
Proper Juggernaut and Apocalypse

That's not even touching FF.
we dont need no more Mystique

I know I've been saying it the longest, but for the MCU X-men they need to take it back to '75 with Giant-Sized X-men #1 as their starting point. The Jim Shooter years were the GOAT era for Marvel comics hands-down, IMO.

Cats want to stan the 90s era because we were kids back then and the cartoon was hot, but in terms of impact, legacy, and overall storytelling, 80s Claremont >>>>>>>>>>> the 90s if we really want to keep it a stack.

Use the Sentinels as the main villains instead of Krakoa (since Magneto needs a break).
I would also either drop Sunfire, Thunderbird, and Banshee, or swap them out for more popular characters (like Rogue, Psylocke, and/or Gambit).

Unpopular opinion: IMO they should start with Giant Size #1 as the introduction to the X-men. That was where the X-men officially got good—plus that era gave us some of the most game changing storylines in comic history.

The Jim Lee run is cool but a lot of y’all put too much weight on that era because the 90s cartoon is the ONLY X-men you’ve ever seen.
