It needs a showcase mode. Plain and simple. Presentation and storytelling matter in pro wrestling. In 2012 they had all the important shyt from August of 1997 through wrestle mania XV. I’m 2013 they had the 30 years of wrestle mania mode and the defend the streak mode with so much customization (they really need to add back taker’s WM28 robe). 2014 they had the rivalries for HBK-HHH and Cena vs Punk and then added Christian in 2011 and mean Mizzark and the hall of pain. 2015 they had Steve Austin’s entire run basically, with his king of the ring win trough backlash 2001 and then his last match against the rock. That’s a ton of content they just haven’t had in the game the last two years between classic videos, photos, and recreated moments as well as classic attires, themes, and arenas. The arenas are still here, but the nameplate graphics and logos are not.I just copped the deluxe edition from PSN while it was on sale

it ain’t hard to pick up. You’ll learn quick once you start. An angle or Undertaker mode would be great. They’ve worked with so many names across multiple eras that there’d be so much good stuff to explore. Most of Cena’s matches and feuds have been forgettable really. Off the top of my head the only classic match he’s ever wrestled on tv that was compelling equally because of his performance was the hour long match in London vs HBGOAT since there wasn’t a storyline behind it beyond a personal grudge before backlash. Halfway through me and 3 different friends were calling people telling them to turn it on since we realized they were going out there for an hour. His matches with the rock were interesting because of the rock. His 2011 feud with punk was interesting because punk was on fire like someone we hadn’t seen in a decade. Angle and taker have more than a few classics due to their role in the story too. We could basically get angle’s whole career in the E except his feud with Chris Benoit
