I still think loot boxes in a wrestling game is retarded, I can understand it being in a game like Overwatch because you actually want to grind. But who the fukk tryna grind in a wrestling game?Again on lootboxes.... I'll keep complaining because it's shyt. Some users that have the PC version have modded the game, for MyCareer/RTG (From the 2K Forums and Wreddit):
"I sped the game up 5x and started opening 10k loot chests. 2-3 hours and millions of points later, I'm barely halfway through the moves. That means that you'll need at least 10,000,000 points and 10-15 hours of loot opening to get all the moves you want for your MyCareer character."
"Considering the average match is worth 300 VC points and he the OP) couldn't unlock anywhere near close to it all with 333,333 matches worth of points, that is atrocious on all levels. Even IF 2k sold VC points it'd take thousands of dollars of real money to unlock everything in the mode. If you had someone playing 24/7 until the next release, you'd never reach 333,000 matches."
"2K designed a grind and awards such little VC from gameplay that it's almost (if not entirely) impossible to unlock everything in the mode. This will lead to player complaints, that they'll address next year by letting people buy VC (to get it faster!), and start WWE games down that road. Next year when this crap is included and they ramp it up to have a section on the PS/XBox stores to "Buy VC" by itself, we'll use our wallets instead of our words to show our disdain for the direction 2K has taken this series."
"Loot crates are there, in an Offline mode of dozens of hours of duration, as a way to introduce microtransactions. My theory is that they were gonna be introduced in WWE 2K18, but 2K backed off after the (completely deserved) backlash of NBA 2K18."
