After crashing twice (), finally got my universe mode underway, with Sanity against the residential jobbers of the RAW brand Darren Young, Rhyno & Heath Slater in a 3 on 3 tornado tag match.

I can confirm the random falls count anywhere still exists in WWE2K18 universe mode and rivals still face eachother every week.

Just bought 2k17 for $5...debating whether I should just wait on this one..

Is this worth copping? I got 2k17 and played it for a couple months then just put it down.

I hate the online play. Universe gets boring fast.

While I'm liking it, if you played 2K17 and dropped it after a couple months, I could see you doing the same with 2K18. So either pass or just wait for a sale.

Promos kept crashing last year for me, so I'm waiting for the first patch before I try it out

Tried a 8 man ladder match in a custom arena........it ran just as you'd expect.

Do y'all have plans for y'all Universe?

One slot for the current WWE
Second slot is my own wrestling universe. Made up of my own original wrestlers, PWG, ROH, NJPW, and other Indy wrestlers. Original championships, tv shows, house shows, etc.
Third will probably remix 1996-1998 WWF.

Played 4 online matches at my friend's today, 3 of them were absolute lag fests. They still haven't fixed their servers, or they still haven't coded a proper matchmaking system, felt like I was playing people in Asia every match.

Gonna wait half a year until the game is as workable as they are gonna make, and cop on sale. I argued with someone about this before, but they spent more time on the visual aspect of things than the actual fixing and gameplay aspect of things, which shows me 2K's Wrestling team are still lacking severely.

I was going to get this on Tuesday but I think I'm going to wait until it goes on sale. I haven't played 2K17 in months and so I'm not really in a hurry.

Can they just bring back GM Mode? Clearly 2K has no interest in fixing Universe Mode

I don't know why they refuse to bring back GM mode especially now that the brands are split again
