Ever since I've been on these threads I've noticed you go mighty hard for this series. Tell me, do you have family working on the games?
I completely shytted on 08-10 12 & 2k15, you've also seen me call them out on the graphics regression as well. So how am I going hard for them? I give credit when it's due unlike some on here who nitpick every little thing. My main issue are the ones who say they're going to skip it but don't, they buy it and then say they played it over a "friend's" house.

That's true you've definitely had your criticisms, and you aren't afraid to dish them out. But it also seems like when other people come in with complaints about this series your immediately on attack dog mode to defend it. You have to understand some people really don't like this series. I agree, there are people who don't give it a fair shot, but in my opinion not everyone is nitpicking and people do have legit gripes. If they've constantly disliked successive iterations of the series their gripes may be legit. If they see constant bugs in a game to me it's important to point that out.

For instance to use another game as an example I've hated the NHL series for a looooooong time for reasons I think are legit. I never actually buy it, I play a friend's copy. But I certainly don't think because I have the same problem with the games every year that I'm nitpicking. I think EA is just bad at making hockey games. Maybe some people really feel 2K is bad at making wrestling games. You and I don't agree with them. Well, you probably like the game more than me, universe and the promo engine drive me nuts but do understand me? It's just possible people won't like what we like, I don't think there's a need to label them as bytching or whining.

Sorry, if I offended you, I had just been holding that in for like 1 and a half years.

You're not the first to call me an attack dog:russ:. The ones who I attack are the ones who said they were done with the series, yet they show up in the yearly thread. I just try to make it fun for me and it works. I'll admit though that I had to go through hell just to make 2k15 somewhat enjoyable.

The last 2K series I actually enjoyed was 2K14, which was the closest thing to the WWE game of my dreams last gen (minor to none glitches, a tolerable universe mode, customization, that Wrestlemania story mode:wow:, beat the streak:blessed:, etc). I gave the series a try almost every year and even played 2K17. My gripe about last year's game was the lack of immersion which is extremely important in my wrestling games. For instance, the promo system which reeks of a WWE intern going to town without the mere fact that maybe just maybe I don't want The Authority or the WWE in my NJPW and Joshi promotion:gucci:. Plus, the glitches (rainbow hair, online issues, etc), the lack of logic in universe mode (Falls Count Anywhere match in every show:dwillhuh:), and the boring my career mode which really don't have no rhyme and reason behind it.

Now 2K18 looks good I give it that, but it just seems like paint coating of 2K17. I really don't see much improvements besides a few tweaks there and there. Overall, I'll cop when it get Steam sale'd:ld:.

See i can respect that pov, because before you seemed like the number of people who go into threads about things they know they hate just to shyt on it. All your points are valid and i can see why you're :whoa:when it comes to these games now, you're right about 2k14 because that game was amazing. I wanted to smash my controller when it came to the streak mode because Taker was ridiculous, then i realized you could just whoop his ass outside the ring:lolbron:

U avant remember the last wrestling game I enjoyed. From the first Smackdown vs raw I had every wwe(PlayStation) since. Except for last year. 2k16 got boring after awhile. I'm going to give this a chance tho. I like what I'm seeing

I feel like 2k16 suffered from the same things all these current ones suffer from and that's mixing the eras, they need to create standalone games that focuses on the 80s, 90s, & the early 00s. The reason i loved WWE 13 is because it felt like a WWF Attitude minus a few missing wrestlers, and they had enough of the old school so i didn't even use the newer wrestlers.

I know this is wishful thinking on my part but I really really wish they had a promo writer option so you could write your own shyt. Though some of the options look better this year, there’s still those that seem like they’re written by an efed midcarder controlled by a 7th grader. But you don’t have to choose those lines! Though the poor helpless AI might. :(

Isn't the steam versions of the WWE2K series the worst versions since apparently it crashes all the time?:patrice:

Boy, that's going to run like TRASH on PC :russ:

Their PC ports are so unoptimized that a rig that can run MGSV full settings 60fps while streaming in HD can't run a traditional tag match without lag without turning the audience and all effects/camera angles off.
