just finished watching it cuz i caught the replay right after ...
- the tag match was dope, cesaro showed out, which leads to,
- cesaro winning the battle royal was nice, beating show via the slam ala hogan/andre put him over huge
- kofi stay avoid getting eliminated in the most creative of ways
- shield coming out of the crowd in the mask was hella dope. took a dope visual from the nexus debut and applied it on talent they actually intend on pushing. straight destroyed the corporate team too. shield as a unit is my favorite thing in the wwe now, mos def should stay together for a while longer and be established as a true all time great team/stable. (especially if the evolution feud rumor is true)
- the hogan/rock/austin segment was great, the superdome botch got me rollin
- cena vs bray was niiice, bray is still young and his ring work can still definitely improve ... but his presence as a star was felt, definitely did not feel out of place going against a top tier dude like cena. his backwards spider exorcism thing is a dope character taunt. crowd was into it thru out, further evidence that cena match will be pretty live regardless of card placement.
- thought the divas match wasnt too bad considering the fact that it had the recipes of a clusterfukk. never understood why they insist on throwing a large amoujnt of bodies in the ring for big matches as you can't see shyt for the beginning portion. crowd was still in shock over the streak match so they were set up to lose in a way. bellas been steady improving, and naomi and tamina could be much more over if booked right but anyways ...
- taker losing was ... might have just been me but crowd seemed out of it until taker got pinned, then they were straight up ... the silence right after for the crowd to soak it in was a nice touch. don't mind the streak ending personally, but always thought they'd give it to an up and comer who they would invest the future into. (i caught a spoiler right before on twitter but didnt really believe it, but still think not seeing it might have made it even more shocking)
- bryan pulling double duty and finally winning in the main event was dope and long overdue, main event match delivered and the crowd was still heavily into it even after such a long and draining event.
honestly i enjoyed this mania a lot more than the last two, good balance of unpredictability/wrestling/legend segments/fukkery. lookin forward to raw after mania.
