Ok here are my thoughts:
In all my years of watching wrestling I have had moments where I would get emotional invested into the show. I'd mark out during certain moments here and there..but never the WHOLE show. The one word I can use to sum up this Wrestlemania was EMOTION. From the Bryan/HHH match on..it was NOTHING but emotion...
-Seeing the 3 Kings (Hogan, Austin, & The Rock) to kick off the show and share a beer..that was my childhood right there
-Hogan calling the Superdome the Silverdome
-Hunter & Bryan kicking off the show. And I'm not gonna lie to you I was legit nervous like
and I NEVER got like that for a WRESTLING match....because that match was really going to set the tone for the rest of the night..and it delivered
..but when Triple H re-injured Bryan some more I was like "They bout to ad Triple H to the main event and then Hogan was add Bryan to the match making it a fatal 4 way
" But I was wrong
-Cesaro winning the Andre The Giant battle royal had me like
...that dude is a star
-The Shield squashing Kane/The Age Outlaws had me
cuz I really wasn't expecting that..but they probably had to run it short cuz of time..
-Cena and Wyatt was cool...but it meant nothing in the end because Cena didn't embrace the darkside. But It was expected..it might happen at Extreme Rules though
-Taker vs. Lesner.....**sigh**
With the average ass build up, everybody and their momma felt in their SOUL that Taker was gonna win. But when the match was going on Taker was just moving slow...slower then usual
. When Brock started hitting Taker with them F-5's I was just like
..the nikka is just gonna kick out as usual. But when that ref counted to 3.....just..
Seeing the shock from the crowd.....to Brock....to Paul...to Cole/Heyman/JBL...even to the fukking REF!...is a moment I will NEVER forget for the rest of my life. It was so sudden and so quick
...after ALL them finishers Taker kicked out of...after kicking out of the Super Kick/Pedigree 2 years ago....he lost just..like...THAT...
He could have gave that 1 win to HBK..he could have gave that 1 win to HHH...he could have even giving it to PUNK!...but he gave that 1 win to BROCK LESNER of ALL people...
I mean I expected him to lose...but I would have thought for sure at 31...and it would have been the last match..and it would have been the perfect send off for him..but like THIS?...
The air was LITERALLY SUCKED from the stadium....to be honest I would have paid money just to be in there just to feel that moment...
....a moment in wrestling that I'm going to remember for the rest of my life...
-At this moment I could have gave a fukk about the divas match...And I felt bad for them too cuz they had to follow the Taker loss and the crowd like me didn't care. I wasn't even paying attention either..I just seen AJ put Naomi in that submission and had her tap made me feel better seeing my baby beat that whole roster..AGAIN
-The Triple Threat match had me like
let again....that Batista Bomb/RKO was
...the last 5 minutes nearly gave me a heart attack at all those close finishes because it really did look like it was over. But then when Bryan made Batista tap...
I was blasting this in my house..
Vince McMahon let again pulled a rabbit out of his ass..
This is why he is running this shyt!!
Next year though...YAY ARRRRREEEA!!
Now I'm imagine Sting showing up all happy and asking Taker about their match.
