They've had great matches in past so they have good chemistry. It's just that the feud was so bad that Lesnar was never presented as a real threat and being a dangerous threat is what makes Brock, Brock.

This is all true, but remember that those matches were over a decade ago and we're basically dealing with two different wrestlers now. Brock wrestles a different style and Taker is almost 50 and wrestles approximately once a year. In addition to Brock not really being treated as a threat (a function of the streak at this point), there's also those factors to consider.
