Yes. The sliding minigame of last year is easier to do and they also added a match the button button mash mini game too

Ah ok I only played the showcases (EDIT: and exhibition matches) so i assumed they had taken off the brand split from the rest of the game by now

Just to let y'all know, you can't change your MyPlayer name after you start. I'm stuck with Tiger Bear Wolf for good now. fukk.
Oh and Universe Mode and MyPlayer take way too long because they do the into of both shows. Loading screens are taking long too.
The overall flow of the moves seem smoother, the matches are a little faster than last years and you can tell they did work on the submission system which now I can actually figure it out unlike previously where it seemed randomly moving sticks around but.l never submitting them. Announcing is still terrible and maybe a little bit more annoying if possible. Presentation is okay. The added arena area is ehhhhh. Backstage Brawl isn't nothing special. I do like they have a targeting button when you press R3 on PS4.
I spent $90 on this for the season pass and MyPlayer boost. I get through the tutorial and get promoted to the main and starting in the tag division. After doing my attributes and playing 5 matches I'm already up to a 92. The guy I'm tagged up with is another created guy and his overall has to be in the 70's.
Overall, it's an improvement from last year, the added scenes are cool but nothing that makes this a must buy at full price. To me it's like last years with slight changes and I became content with that game.
