Literally no SD is better than Revenge. Go play HCTP. shyt is garbo. 2K era games are even worse, yet basically the same game. No Mercy is more refined, no doubt. I'm not arguing that. I'm saying Revenge captures the feel of 1998 WCW more than World Tour captures the feel of 1997 WCW or Japan, WM2000 captures the feel of 1999 WWF, No Mercy captures the feel of 2000 WWF, or VPW2 captures the feel of AJPW 1999/2000.
Plus I specifically said best AKI wrestling game, so I have no idea why you're bringing up SD games to begin with.

You lost all credibility when you said HCTP is garbage, secondly I'm talking about all wrestling game so fukk your aki talk. If you love it so much then go make a thread about it and gtfo of the 2k17 thread, you & marty are just trying to derail the thread by being pessimists.
Mother fukker, go play HCTP. fukking do it. Because I literally played it yesterday and it is janky as fukk. The only SD game that holds up is 2006.

I have HCTP dumbass and i still love it, 2003 was a great year and the game as you like to say "captures the feel" of that year. Now take ya ass out of this thread and go start a Revenge thread.
HCTP is a janky mess and the same fukking game as it was the year before and after. I have no idea why it has been held up as some super excellent game. Having it and playing it isn't the same thing. Play it and see how it is the same janky mess of a SD game that they all are. Yeah, it has a great roster. Gameplay is still the core SD gameplay that people are bytching about in 2017. There are legit still animations from that game in the 2K series. 2 gens later.

HCTP is nothing like SYM in terms of gameplay/control
joining the authority didn't really do much for you in 2k16, or maybe i didn't play mycareer long enough.

Not that I plan on buying it, but are they making this game for PS3 and 360 this year. I always heard people complain having the games on the old consoles took away time from working on the current versions
