Had to think back. Basically, started turning after Hell In A Cell last year because people didn't like him not dropping the belt to The Fiend. That was coupled with him defending WWE on Twitter while being a face with a top title since Mania (fans got tired).

He basically just became himself on Twitter and addressed the fact that everyone was rooting for him before Mania after he came back from injury and showed out by giving them fire-ass performances (Raw Gauntlet). Implied he was a martyr and that turned into him being a Messiah and hiring AoP as goons and recruiting Buddy Murphy who'd been getting washed by Aleister Black a lot.
