As we all know, the former roast master @Ed MOTHERfukkING G ( for the cosign)is not doing the race this year, so we are a bit behind schedule, but the Brooklyn west indian labor day parade is over, so no more procrastination. This has quite possibly been the worst year in coliseum history, as Ed has chosen to not even make the thread this year. The show must go on though, and we have an embarrassment of riches to consider for this race, as the field is as deep as it has been maybe ever. Without further wasting of time, here is the current list of contenders for the #WPOY2016:
@EducatedBrothaFromTheBank - Here we have the reigning worst poster of the year. As always, he is an unfunny troll who relies on lies, poorly researched information, race baiting, and low brow hot takes. He was as spineless as ever this year with his back tracking on thread titles and posts that bit him in the ass that he would try to edit after the fact once the Cavaliers won the finals, most famously the thread "Steph is erasing LeBron's legacy". Props to whoever changed the title back. A very deserving poster of the award. Fittingly called the Donald trump of the coli by Ed in the presentation of the award last year. Edit: he's turning in maybe his saddest performance yet with his gimmick in this thread at the moment.
@waltthizzney - Lethot was a name coined by him. Enough said. A bottom 3 coli nickname along with bm chunks and ribs veal donuts
@Swagnificent - The award is named in his dishonor. He's won it twice, and were he not left off the ballot last year (he must have watched the race unfold like ) he would be chasing his 4th straight WOAT badge. The worst poster in coli history, he is as awful a human being as he is a poster.
@No..Money..Mo..Problems - A mind filled with awful sports opinions. Opened the year catching a huge neg train for the thread "Marvin Lewis fired", and has since made countless awful takes. @Gil Scott-Heroin pulled up the list in the thread mentioned. Will add the rest of his awful posts once they are researched. Came up with the nickname "struggle ankles", which is among the worst in coliseum history. Tried to argue once with Gil that you can only get the assist if the guy you pass to doesn't dribble before his shot attempt.
@SuaveHooper88 - "Warriors would go 73-9 without curry, the warriors will never go back to the finals as long as curry plays for them, KD joining golden state makes them miles worse and slams their championship window shut are among several of his 6-7 threads he once had deleted or thrown in the bushes in 6-7 days. Inactive since maybe July, he would need to catch up quick to make the final ballot.
@The Taxman - His dikk obsession and hating on Tony Dungy/#88 are awful and dangerous. The former mechanic has been abysmal as always, but to win the award, he likely needs to ramp it up.
@Gangstar8 - Started the year by making a thread about Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen beefing over each other's dikk sizes, and somehow managed to get worse from there. He spammed the coliseum so hard with his half retarded Kobe stanning that even other kobe stans were asking for him to be banned. He came back and was as awful as ever. Our worst new poster since @Sausageman
@WarriorsFanSinceJuly2016 - the former OKCfansincejune2012 is a completely worthless poster. He literally does nothing but spam hate threads about LeBron and Aaron Rodgers. Has never made a decent quality post in his posting career
@Eye Cue 182 - Dion Waiters stanning, Andrew Wiggins hate, Kyrie Irving hate. He spams these in the same manner the poster above him spams his hate threads.
@Sccit - The heavy favorite to win the award. The most unintelligible, thin skinned, and insecure poster here, he has flooded the coliseum with the worst of posting, and that doesn't even consider the caps lock. He's taken LeBron leading the cavaliers to the championship worse than the Warriors fans on here have. He's spent the year embarrassing even other kobe stans to the point that they ask him to give it up. He would also try to argue that LeBron wasn't even the second best small forward in basketball, tried to argue that Pau made minimal contributions to the lakers 2009 and 2010 titles, has tried repeatedly to argue that kobe was better than Jordan at any and every opportunity, most foolishly tried to argue bean was a better scorer than Jordan, and has taken every chance to downplay Shaq's contributions to the lakers success from 1996-2004. Claimed that Shaq was Deandre Jordan status by 2004, that kobe was great in the 2000 finals, tried to blame Shaq's pick and roll defense for losing a finals series where the lakers averaged 82 points per game, and has tried to argue that Pippen and Dennis Rodman were both better than anyone Kobe spent any point of his prime seasons with (most notably Pau and Shaq). It's gonna be hard to overtake him in this race at this point.
There will also be a nomination for worst thread and worst singular post in the coliseum this year. The current leaders are Either of the threads where sccit tries to argue kobe over Jordan while blaming Shaq for the 2004 finals or the @Playa With Tha Passport for the thread where he tries to argue Carmelo Anthony over Kawhi Leonard in 2016 and tries to paint the flaws of Rajon Rondo onto Chris Paul. The worst post of the year belongs to @tangerine with "I'd rather be 0-0 in the finals than 2-4/2-5".
That concludes the labor day edition. The final power rankings before the official vote will be on thanksgiving weekend. The official race begins on Christmas day and the ballot will close on new years day. Keep in mind if posters step their game up then they can fall off the ballot. Likewise, if they really start shytting it up, they will be finding themselves on her.
