You never seen the OG movie?

Not that it really matters, they flipped the premise. In the original movie there was a theme park where rich people could act out being in a European empire, in an American western, or a Roman empire. The entire theme park is filled with robots that act out these roles. You can even have sex with them and "kill" them. Some kind of computer error makes the robots go nuts and the movie is people trying to escape the park while being hunted by the robots.

In the TV show apparently it's from the point of view of the robots, who don't know they're not really in an American western, etc.

To give you an idea of what its about, "Jurassic Park" was a rehash of the idea of the original movie (by the same author), except with dinosaurs instead of cowboy Terminators.
