I hate how a guys opponent (Mousassi) gets put in title contention just because of who they are fighting. Moussai has been out almost a year after beating on a can training partner of Gus. If he does win he doesn't deserve a title shot. Give it to Jacare

Mousasi been a long time contender though. He's not some random guy. Beating Machida (which I think he will) means a lot.

I know but hes been injured a lot and has not faced quality competition imo.

Nobody said he gets a shot.

Never said he did/would. Jacare proved in the first round that he can hold on to the back for an entire round if he needs to.

Coming into the 3rd 1-1, all he needed to do was get the back once and chew the clock to victory. Coulda been more interesting if it was a 5 rounder
