As a Mexican-American, am I allowed to cheer on Spain? Considering they pillaged and raped my ancestors I'm not sure. Would it make me the Mexican equivalent of a c00n?

because the players themselves are far more internationalized, of course due to having exposure to all sorts of people and cultures - they have teammates from different backgrounds that they come to know as brothers.

i know xavi not too long ago went to africa to help with eto'o charity, etc., for example.

Eh...that first leg against Inter, Inter were amazing. Granted Barca had to take a bus around Europe and with volcanic ash in the air to put them off their game but still, Inter played really well.

And you're of course forgetting Real Madrid who have lost but have outplayed Barca on occasions.

Yea you're right on both accounts it's just no team has consistently had their number. Over 2 legs they would play better football than their opponent on the whole but wouldn't find a breakthrough.

Obviously Spain and Barca are all time great teams just not the greatest. I think it's a lack of quality teams in the past 6 years that's contributed to their dominance.
