Living legend

To put into context - the fastest time in the world in the 400m flat this year is syndney mcalughin at 48.75 and then nickisha pryce at 48.89

to run a 50.65 in the hurdles is friggin crazy :gucci:

the second best time of all time in the 400 meter hurdle by someone not named syndey is nearly a second slower :mjlol:

to bad the 400m and 400m hurdles are so close sydney would prob do the gail devers if she never tripped double

Aaron Brown will be competing in the 200 metres at the Paris Olympics.
He finished ahead of Brendon Rodney (20.34) and Jerome Blake (20.41), his teammates in the 4x100 relay. It will be the fourth Olympic appearance for the 32-year-old Brown.

Man me and the wife been talking about going to the Olympics the past decade. Doing it in Paris is perfect. Everything booked, can’t wait.

Thats dope. I hope that you guys enjoy it.

I have been talking about going in person for a decade as well. Already planning to do the 2028 games in LA.

Also, as a heads up, track and field will be in the 1st week of comp in 2028 (instead of the usual 2nd week). Swimming will be in the 2nd half at SoFi Stadium, so they will need time to setup the pool after the opening ceremonies.

For Sydney to do the double at the Olympics, her schedule would have been:

Open 400- 8/5 (1st round), 8/7 (Semifinal), 8/9 (Final)
400 Hurdles- 8/4 (1st Round), 8/6 (Semifinal) 8/8 (Final)

It COULD have been done, but very risky

Sydney always had a better chance of doing the double in LA. Sydney will be the face of the LA games so it will be easier to lobby for it to make the schedule more beneficial for her. Michael Johnson had to do the same thing in 96
