But her own questionable character is being intentionally ignored so a narrative against Black Men can be pushed.

It's why I've always maintained that Megan is agent being used to push a gender divide on a MAINSTREAM level.

I mean just look at what she told the NYtimes.

After a lot of self-reflection on that incident, I’ve realized that violence against women is not always connected to being in a relationship. Instead, it happens because too many men treat all women as objects, which helps them to justify inflicting abuse against us when we choose to exercise our own free will.

Walking the path paved by such legends as Shirley Chisholm, Loretta Lynch, U.S. Representative Maxine Waters and the first Black woman to be elected to the U.S. Senate, Carol Moseley Braun, my hope is that Kamala Harris’s candidacy for vice president will usher in an era where Black women in 2020 are no longer “making history” for achieving things that should have been accomplished decades ago.

To be honest, as a dad and family man, the stories about Tory’s fam reaction in court really makes me sad.

Makes me wonder what the hell his defense team was thinking. They had a chance to at least let him go home for the holidays and they chose against it,

What I'm tripping off of is that...how can you convict this nikka on all 3 charges when the only non-biased eye-witness' testimony was easily the most believable?

All three drunk, a fight happens between the women, a gun gets pulled and shots ring off, then Tory fires multiple shots into the air.

You have multiple DNA signatures on the weapon. Tory's isn't conclusive. What man do you know has a lime green gun? On top of Meg's story not making sense at all and having some inconsistencies AND an eyewitness disregarding much of what she previously said in a recorded video.

I generally don't care about much, but I'm baffled at how this isn't a mistrial. A father got convicted 2 days before Christmas for 2 of 3 charges that can't be 100% proven that he carried out.

I highly doubt it was roc nation. I just think that the jury wanted to go the fukk home and enjoy Christmas and Christmas Eve.

And to think he might be doing baseball numbers off of this. shyt is nutty.

Edit: Only way I can see otherwise is that the jury had some info that wasn't publicly reported.

Again, Tory only has himself to blame. Kelsey and Meg were not on trial which means that, at the end of the day, the jury will be considering his actions.

On the facts presented, he fired the gun. He may have been acting in self-defence or in defence of another, but it was on him to raise that defence.

Tory's lawyers messed up but really did the best they could. When you look at the factors (quoting from some random discussions around social media):

I mean the case seemed simple to me.

Meg was shot. The medical records and doctors proved that.

Tory and the other girl were the only potential suspects. It couldn’t have been anybody else.

The other girl said in her earlier deposition that Tory shot Meg.

The gun had Tory’s “inconclusive” DNA.

Meg herself said Tory shot her.

To me it seems like the logical conclusion is that Tory did it. All the other social media nonsense was unnecessary.

They had to find a way to neutralize that as best as possible. It was still going to be work. They did screw up by getting the critical tape played in court - they definitely did dude no favors with that play.

Tory's actions leading up to the trial additionally did them no favors.

End of the day, that was an uphill battle through and through. For them to even get to the point where there was optimism about reasonable doubt is pretty remarkable.
