I hear you on that, but my family isn't suffering in the states They are in Texas and Florida. They are all home owners with good salaries. They came up not too long ago and laughed at how goofy and expensive Canada was. Same homes in Canada cost 1/3 in the states. I couldn't even argue back with them on anything. Especially with that fakkit Trudeau in power at the time.
yea it just sucks here. geographic location + the mindset and culture of the people dont help matters.

i dont know about yall but I know for certain that I do not belong here, especially as a black person. this place isnt meant for us. parents migrated all the way out here and honestly it seems they prolly woulda been better off just staying back home in Ghana and using their brains/resources to make shyt pop out there. I aint ungrateful but it is what it is.

I stayed in Dc for 2 months during Covid
5 percent takes instead of the 13 percent in Canada

We are taxed heavily
It’s ridiculous

man i was vacationing around the time that HST grace period ended and when I came back I realized how big a difference that HST makes. It's pretty wild man. I had become so accustomed to it after all these years but it wasnt until they paused it and brought it back that I realized

Yooooo, tell me how I've been having these exact same thoughts. I'm sitting here thinking to myself this country ain't it. They should have went to the states with the rest of the family.

All of the older generation of my family in Canada are home owners with large size homes. Some of them don't even have college/university. Most of the younger generation have much smaller homes or rwent, despite them making significantly more money than the immigrant older generation. They also much higher levels of education.

Make it make sense.

In the US, my family experiences the opposite. The younger generation have big homes and good salaries with a lot of disposable income.

How can Canadians sit around beating their chest to Americans when 1/4 of the population live in poverty, and most of the rest are struggling.

The cold hard truth now about Canada is that the millenial, Gen z, etc.. are a sacraficial generation. If you don't want to be solely used for your manpower/taxes to build a better Canada for the new young indian-Canadians, then you have to leave this country. We are nothing more than a sacrifice at this point. The government isn't focused on building a better Cabada for you and I.

No wonder yall dikkride PP….pathetic
You are living in fantasy land if you think Canada is not in a bad position, and the issues should not be discussed.

Canadians need to understand how bad it is and act accordingly.

2 things - A)Canada needs to make the investments that China is making into robotics, America is into AI, and Europe is doing regarding bio pharmaceuticals.

B) Canadians pour the investments into rent seeking (ie owning real property assets) which inflates the value of shelter

Federal governments are too chicken to disincentivize investment away from real estate towards the TSX/Cdn business

As the times get harder expect much more of this shyt.

These two cave dwellers should have never got a plea for a lesser crime.
Rubbish.
My whole life here I haven't heard of outright violent attacks happen to black people here like that, always some p*ssy ass micro aggressions or something.
