t-dot till they bury me
There was no federal election. Our goofy system allowed a guy who was missing from the country for 10+ years, in a non citizen elected post as the govenor of the bank of england, to become the new prime minister of Canada. A federal election still needs to called.

The Canadian population are all acting like a bunch of alzheimers patients, and forgot which party screwed them for 10 years. Now they think they will get something different with a guy who hasn't proved himself as s pllotician.

Canadians deserve to be annexed
if the Liberals win, or Conservatives win a minority.

Canada
got a bachelors degree from a solid school
i'm a CPA
got 10 years of experience at a Big 4 accounting firm + prominent financial institutions
it has been 9 months and I cant find a job

i'm nearing my wits end. fighting suicidal thoughts and everything.
this country really failing its ppl. its a shame

i'm sure ppl across the world feel the same

Man early last year I applied to like 20 Walmart jobs in the same store and didn't even get back a single "thank you for your application, unfortunately we are going with other candidates" email.

Then I see on YouTube some new immigrant from India who hasn't even been here for 6 months. lives in Halton region, yet already starting his walmart job soon

The bay is done, 3 million in cash and 950 million in debt. They blocked their rewards program and screwed over all their longtime customers.

Big department stores are dead, bay didn't adapt.

I used to love hudson's bay at one point years ago but yeah its actually kind of sad the oldest company in canada is dead

Shein and sephora prob killed the bay
The wife and I loved going to The Bay. If we couldn't find stuff at other stores we knew The Bay would have what we were looking for.

Departments stores still do well in America, but Canada man. Our economy is so shyt. Thats's the real culprit, not shein really. If people had disposable income here, like in the states, we would not be witnessing this tragedy.

Not gonna lie, losing The Bay hurt a nikka heart man.

The Canadian government is playing this game wrong, and we are paying the price. We as a people are already suffering, and these tariffs are going to put us in the dirt.

The tariffs implemented so far are targeted on certain industries and goods and not blanket.

I understand that, but the tariffs on certain industries have a ripple effect on other industries. Which then impacts the consumers and taxpayers.

We aren't in the position to take on any more damage fiscally as citizens. The liberals/ndp already did a number on us.

I hear you on that, but my family isn't suffering in the states They are in Texas and Florida. They are all home owners with good salaries. They came up not too long ago and laughed at how goofy and expensive Canada was. Same homes in Canada cost 1/3 in the states. I couldn't even argue back with them on anything. Especially with that fakkit Trudeau in power at the time.
