They're the first to get the axe :heh:
Ontario premier announces new COVID-19 restrictions after record spike in cases

Breaking news

The regional restrictions being recommended by the provincial health command table would affect bars, restaurants, banquet halls and gyms in Toronto, Peel Region and Ottawa — with new capacity limits and contact tracing requirements.

Restaurants, bars and nightclubs would face new capacity restrictions, would have maximum table capacity of six and would be required to collect contact information for every diner or patron.

Banquet halls would also face capacity limits, if the new measures are approved, rather than the current limit of 50 people per room, excluding staff. The current proposal is a maximum of 50 people per facility.

Gyms in the affected areas would also face capacity limits as well, including restriction on group classes.

No shutdowns and :mjlol: @ group classes, only women gon be mad about that one.

Also York Region not included in the list :mjlit:

@TradePascalSiakam we won!

everything that is happening has been projected since March. there's no surprises. the second wave was right on time and it will be slow winter. and another slow spring or summer until the vaccines happen.

Breh Goodlife at Vaughan Metro Centre is excellent, no cases, and they clean it down like crazy.

Also only the hardcore gym folk are the ones showing up, all the gym clowns and casuals never came back after COVID. I hope they stay away forever.

As a matter of fact, they're discontinuing online booking starting next Tuesday, no more 60 min limit :blessed:

i know...a full blown shutdown like March would be deadly.

I feel like they're going to be cautious with it and limit to the high case regions instead of an all out shutdown..but i might be totally wrong.

if yall live in the city, Peel and Durham, good luck, super populous and concentrated population.

we lost a lot of small businesses. I know people who barely made it through and they wont survive another lockdown. the Ontario government knows that. bars are getting the worst of it because they are not strictly compliant but restaurants and barbershops, salons etc wont survive another lockdown. salons and barbers especially were one of the last to get an opening pass.
