Protesters prepare to rally in Toronto against anti-black, Indigenous racism
Try to make it if you can
Yeah i'm on the fence with this one as far as protesting so far... her mother admitted she was trying to put netting on the balcony for weeks prior to this incident which suggests she perceived a risk of suicide. there's no clarity here of what really happened. the cops botched the call regardless because they were brought into aid the family and secure her.'There’s a whole lot that I want to say,' Saunders says of Toronto woman's fatal fall
Saunders is trash but they're saying relatives called in a mental health crisis
Wasn't man calling for Shaun King also a relative?

Why are we not hearing about body cams? If the police were the only ones in her room when she fell. A body cam should have caught that. A police officer also immediately lied to the mother and said that she was at the neighbours house then said she was on the ground immediately after the mother asked him again.
The situations is tough but I can't pin it as police brutality yet when it might be police incompetence. That's a major difference. One is murder and the other is a failure to secure/aid someone in crisis. Overall the police still have to answer because they have an established pattern in the city of botching mental health related crisis calls involving Black men. We can't forget the dude that was shot in his mothers house in Brampton.
