I remember seeing how intense the the beef between Flemo Park vs Regent Park beef used to be. I remember seeing the showdowns that used to occur after school at Broadview Station because that was a station they both stopped at..Regent took the Streetcar, and Flemo boys took the 100. Years passed, and all those nikkas moved on.

What hoods are beefing with each other now?

I really don't get fools in canada. Canada is literally the easiest place to "make it out the hood" so to speak.

You can even work min wage for 40 hours a week and still make enough to rent a basement apartment in a decent area in the city. You have government handouts, tax breaks if you make under a certain amount. Even if you mess up and have a kid that you can't afford you get like 500 a month per kid. Post secondary is cheap compared to the US.

I feel you, everything you said is facts. But I do feel for these young bruhs just cause I used to be in those hoods as a youngin. Not as reckless as these dudes but it is easy to get caught up in crime where you do live in poverty, come from a broken home with no guidance, don’t see a future in a “career” because no one you know has a career. shytty schools... it goes on and on.

Mainly I’m thinking some bruhs I grew up with that turned to killers but were actually good kids before they got “lost”. Systematic racism and oppression is real and devastating in our country and not something we can deny. But like you said, a lot of this they bring on themselves with the way they embody violence and destruction. It’s multi layered and fukked either way...

they have some talented artists they just keep getting shot

Toronto is a big city but small city most of these dudes who blow are still rotting away in the city . I wouldn’t be shocked if this rapper Houdini still lived at Jane and driftwood or they just rent a condo downtown

true I didn’t mean to speak like I’m some high horse negro. But even look at you and how well you are doing now. You can even mess up and ish hell I got arrested at 17 but as a youth my record was destroyed once I turned 18.
