for anyone else thats's interested- Can a Canadian Citizen Work in USA: Everything You Need to Know
Yes. You will need to get a worker Visa (H1-b for temporary work, or EB-2/EB-3 for permanent work), and I would suggest it be in a field that is in demand (like health care professions, example Nursing). The US is about to clamp down on immigration, so you don't want your dreams to be crushed.for anyone else thats's interested- Can a Canadian Citizen Work in USA: Everything You Need to Know
I bought all my gym equipment during covid to avoid going back. I thank God I did that. The gyms are stupid now. Doesn't even make sense to join anymore tbh for a lot of people.noticing that gym are also packed at any time of day now too. Im sure every city got this issue now but even in places like Markham, Vaughan, or Brampton, I keep getting into gyms super early and still a lot of folks are there during the week
Even when I get in this bytch at 6am, still mad people here taking up machines

The good thing about Nursing too is that the test to become one (NCLEX-RN / NCLEC-PN) is the same between the US and Canada, so you can work in both countries easily. There is a shortage of nurses in the US. Also, you can get a job before moving over there, and a hospital can help you with the immigration papers, housing, transportation, etc.
100%Yeah I know many nurses who left our organization to work in the US. You get sign on bonuses (although most hospitals in toronto will give you an extra 10k if you stay for year), as well getting paid in USD and the cheaper cost of living
I keep telling folks get into healthcare, secured jobs, goat pension, can work anywhere.
As soon as my wife moves to canada shes going to nursing school
100%
I got a a ton of family in Florida who work in the field. They gave me and my wife the run down..She just finished her nursing program. We plan on leaving this God forsaken country soon.
Accorsing the OECD Canada will be the worst economically performing "developed" country for the next 30-40 years. Pollieve cant turn that around. I'm not waiting until im 70+ years old to enjoy this country again.
Not even my pension is worth it in staying here the value of the dollar is garbage and will be for some time.
Make USD, retire in East Africa.
That's the goal we are working on right now.
Yea I'm happy she made the career switch.Congrats on finishing that nursing program, if she's struggling to find a job pm me I work for one of the biggest hospital networks in the city
You Kenyan?
My wife is Ugandan we have a 3 BDRM house by the beach in Entebbe not even 300 cdn a month. Before we had a 1bdrm in Kampala and it was 150 cdn a month. If the job market wasn't basura over there we'd stay and settle there. But that's also our plan stack and move there and just live off savings and investments.
Yea I'm happy she made the career switch.
My people are Jamaican, and her people are from Kenya. We will plan to settle in Kenya.
Yea man. East Africa is sweet if you have the funds to enjoy it.
