Importing healthcare workers is tiny. I work at one oft he largest hospital networks in canada, we currently have 5 international nurses :wow: out of nearly 3000 nurses on staff

Immigration is a major part of the issue. If you're not building new hospitals but importing more and more people the system collapses. When ravinder gets his pr and citizenship and sponsors his elderly parents who have never paid a dime in taxes and are now citizens who are using the healthcare system GASP

temporary residents and citizens contribute to the funding of the canadian healthcare system.

elderly residents still have to pay taxes on investments or property.

"Just over 1 in 10 recent immigrants were youth and young adults aged 15 to 24 (10.9%), while most (64.2%) were in the core working age group of 25 to 54. A much smaller proportion of recent immigrants (3.6%) were aged 55 to 64."

"The spouses, partners and children of Canadian citizens and permanent residents are expected to number 84,000 annually, while parents and grandparents are projected to be at 34,000."

out of 500,000 immigrants annually, the taxbase from the working age immigrant population should more than cover what it costs to take care of the massuming all elderly immigrants don't pay taxes.

the 500k only includes Prs, does not include the TFWS, international students who also affect healthcare and housing

they still pay taxes, housing is a global issue because of NIMBYs.

Throughout this year, Canadian newcomers can expect to see several new regulations and laws implemented at both the federal and provincial/territorial levels.

These changes, ranging from employment and taxes to international student tuition, are likely to impact international students, temporary foreign workers and permanent residents across this country.
