Stupid fukking logic. Downtown. That means the downtown section of the city of Toronto. The city that has six boroughs. East York being one of them. I'm not in Meadowvale, or the border of Richmond Hill/Vaughn, or Jane and Finch. I'm a 10 minute train ride from Union Station. I can get to my job at CBC on Front street in less than 30 mins on a good day from my house, and that includes walking 10 mins to the GO station, and 10 mins from Union down Front street.
You keep saying you live downtown. Where? The Esplanade? Queen West? Sackville? Regent? Bloor West? Bathurst street? College and Spadina? China Town? Kensington? Liberty Village? Parkdale?
Downtown means downtown you fukking Pundai, without getting to the exact neighborhood. People from the city are still having trouble calling Scarborough part of Toronto (the amalgamation is void in their heads).
