Some good deals for Black Friday via redflagdeals. Just saw Apple watch se for $250, unlimited us/Canada plan with 50gb for $50 at fido. $34 for 20gb plan at public mobile.

Personally, just copped a car charger for $90 no tax just in case my whip dies in the winter. If I wasn't locked into my shytty phone plan I'd get the public mobile deal. Looking to save y'all some money in these shytty times.

I'm looking for Winter tires for my dad's car and its impossible to find right now.

[Freedom Mobile] [Black Friday] 2GB @ $24/mo, 6GB @ $29/mo, 4G LTE Speed

have you tried cdn tire? (just dont get them installed there)

welcome to canada

The continental change of scenery proved challenging for the Ukrainian immigrant. It took Martynenko about two months to find a comparable job in Toronto’s bustling downtown, about an hour’s commute from his apartment in the city’s suburbs. It wasn’t enough to pay the bills, so he soon took a second job, also as a line cook, and now works seven days a week in fast-paced kitchens.

t

The strenuous work and high cost of living has taken its toll. Martynenko, 44, is now planning a return to Sweden. His monthly expenses in Toronto include roughly $100 for a phone plan , $150 for public transit, $400 for groceries, and $1,000 for a room in a rooming house, where the kitchen and bathroom are shared among four tenants. Any money left over is sent back to family still in Ukraine. At least in Stockholm he earned enough to have savings, he said.

“I’m tired all the time now,” Martynenko said in an interview. “I want to go back to Europe because it’s such a difficult life in Canada.”

Canada has long been a choice destination for newcomers seeking a better life in a prosperous nation. Nearly a quarter of all Canadians are immigrants and the country has welcomed nearly 200,000 Ukrainians since the war’s outset. But the daily grind of life in Canada’s busiest metropolises — not just Toronto but also Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary — along with soaring costs is making it increasingly hard to get by.

This is strange pre-emptive deflection from Polievre having been a Conservative hack and career politician since he was 25. I should know. He was my MP for a decade. He was abysmal and racist.

Trudeau worked as a teacher in British Columbia. I have acquaintances who were taught by him.

Can we put partisan lies aside? Trudeau is a Liberal and is liberal and he doesn’t align with my politics (he is also an anti black racist) but there’s no need to lie.

Trudeau was born rich but he has worked. Poilievre was born middle class but hasn’t had a genuine career outside of politics and was active in the Reform Party and the united Conservative Party from a young age.

lol JT has had a trust fund his whole life to fall back on, Poilievre from what I understand was basically working class poor so should understand the struggle.... I am not saying I support either, just it is what it is. PP aint going to fix Canada or make anything better either

Told yall Libs are fukking done. Cons will be a disaster as well but JT had to go. Made a complete mess of this country, it's sad because many don't even realize it and how he used young folk as a tool to push his idiotic policies. Now young people can't even afford a home, neither can middle class. Damn shame.

The list of fukkups is so long. He’s a trust fund kid that never had a real job. And yes, he pulled a Wynne. Libs are fukking retarded. Now we get PP with a majority and that will be a problem IMO. There will be cuts everywhere and quality of life will be even worse.

Blame your premier for this.

Again, I’m surprised I still have to say this, the federal government did not control the vast majority of lockdowns that people experienced during COVID.

I actually don’t mind him freezing bank accounts of those Convoy occupiers. They aimed to overthrow our government.
