sure, but that won't stop the fukkery. there has to be a cultural shift, this kind of callousness is heavily influenced in the drill music....our street level gangsters seem to be taking cues from the tales of chicago nikkas intrenched in decades old beefs between neighbourhoods not individuals.

it's the same 20 offenders keeping up the fukkery city-wide tbh...
top 5 just on IG live talking about i gotta go pick up my gf

Nothing will change until there is real money out here. I've watched this city grow at an almost exponential rate over the last 20 years, except for black owned business and jobs for young men. Cost of rent, mortgage, even groceries is ridiculously high. When you've got nothing to lose what are you really risking?

I’m 36 but I remember even like 15 years you would be like wow when someone bought a house for 300k

I remember condos going for like 120k

I remember my dad getting upset at my mom because we bought a house in thornhill for 310

Trust me fam. I'm coming up on 40 next month. Unless I buy in Windsor, win the lotto, or my girls parents sell and leave her a good chunk of money, I'm not owning a house in my life. 1 million on a 30 year mortgage alone is like $3500 per month. My wife's parents have been paying $1300 since like 2004. They're 20 year is up in 2024 and they're ready to dip back home to the Phillipines. But its wild out here. My dad and step mother are fukked as soon as their landlord drops the hammer on them. They pay $1000 for rent for a beautiful house in Sutton, but now its a super high in demand area. If their 80 year old ll sells, they can't afford today's rental market. I'm going to have to find a way to take them in... Expect shyt to get wild as fukk out here as it already is. Its becoming 2 GTA's. The wealthy and the rest of us desperate fukks...

I think certain people just need to be removed from society. Criminal system here is a JOKE! This is a multi factor situation but overhaul at the courts, police. Government.

And black folk gotta get it together. Some are born with no shot but there are others who are from good homes that get involved in nonsense. Too many things that need fixing but gotta start somewhere.

Need more affordable housing but that’s more of a pipe dream. Need to fast track high speed rail. This is why we have these large concentrations in Toronto, Vancouver, etc. Because we don’t have many major cities and they’re all so spread out from each other. If people were able to comfortably get home in 1 hour max and comfortably, more folk would branch out. Grow other cities. Grow Hamilton, Kitchener, etc. Hell Barrie. We need more hubs and we need to have high speed rail that can reach these locations quicker. If we had high speed rail I could live in Ottawa but work in Toronto. Need more people working remotely as well. But Toronto is going to get more popular so you gotta make moves. This isn’t getting better. Even if there’s a crash, regular folk will feel it the most.

In the same boat breh and I’m on a single income.

You can save 10 k a year for ten years and that only 100k will still leave you stuck with like a million dollar mortgage

CraY thing is the longer you wait the more hell it’s going to be ten years from now with more immigration we are screwed even more

There is no middle class housing anymore you either in or out

People really undervalue the fact of walking down the block and seeing your people own establishments and run services. These youngsters are lied to about Black ownership, school and careers.

Why go through all of that when you can make quick money and live the life? I implore some of you to look at black students' outlook on post-secondary education rates.
