interesting. so now everyone will bring their own phone. the data and talk time deals now how to be worthwhile as there's no added phone to sweeten the mostly shytty deals.

Exactly. It allows you to not be wrapped into a contract and have the freedom to find your own plan with any carrier and switch plans at will. Back to the drawing board for these leach telecom companies. They'll have to find another way to rob Canadians. CRTC is a joke.

I was contemplating buying the phone outright, but might just grab it through apple...0% interest, grab the bell data plan that I was offered for (30 GB for $65) and wait for black friday/boxing day to jump on a cheaper plan.

When I wanted to buy a phone with the plan they were all on my dikk. Now that I just want the plan they don't care about me. :mjlol:

Man I don't even think 10 gb/$50 a month is enough for me lol. That 80$ for 30 is enticing... if it was for like 60$

Koodo also trash, keep going down to 4g at the most inconvenient times.

I was offered 30GB for $65 from Bell (BYOD).

I 'm good with 10 GB for now...

The Toronto Police Service's homicide unit is investigating after one person was killed and two others sustained serious injuries following a shooting in Toronto's Brookhaven neighbourhood.

It happened near Martha Eaton Way and Trethewey Drive shortly before 10:30 p.m.

Police say they were called to the area of reports of multiple gunshots and when officers arrived on scene, three people were found with gunshot wounds.

Toronto paramedics say two men were transported to a trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police confirmed that one person was pronounced dead following the shooting.

The homicide unit has taken over the investigation.

Ayo for those who are more educated about politics than I, why is Trudeau calling an election? What are the stances of NDP and CPC?

Brehs so check this:

my Canadian joint (not the one here with my currently :mjlit:) just told me her Canadian home girl who’s here in NY just tested positive (vaccinated) and they won’t let her board the plane.

she’s trying to get back home and suggested to her to take the Amtrak to Niagara Falls and take a taxi over.

my thing is, isn’t this a bit fukked uo that she’s boarding a train and could infect other people? I get that she’s a symptomatic but she’s technically supposed to quarantine and can still infect folks :mindblown:
