If they're offering the phone for less than retail and upping the monthly cost try and find out if they'll charge you a fee if you wanna leave them in the future. They tried that with me saying I'm not on a contract but I'd have to pay a few hundred just to get off their service to recoup their loss from the phone price. I just bought the phone outright from somewhere else.

Man I’ve had an easier time buying property. Each offer is the same but they have all this Bill credit here and there thrn will only give you expensive data plans. I don’t use much data, why do I need 30 gb of data? CRTC fukking up man.

What about a one-year tax exemption or small government rebate (one time $500-1000) for the diehard vaccine holdouts?

Like in October/November?

Don’t think it’ll work to be honest.

$ incentive wont work; issuing a scarlett letter of sorts (passport) to anti-vaxxers and limiting what they can do/where they can go/social, economical benefits, etc, might be the only option

I actually think incentives might be the only way

Shaming and restrictions aren't gonna change the minds of people completely opposed to it , it would only entrench their beliefs. If they can't already see the societal benefit in taking it, forcing them might not change much

The only bet is to sway some of the 20%-30% who are on the fence and would be open to taking it

potential foundation has been set :jbhmm:

Canada getting vaccine passport for international travel - National | Globalnews.ca

The vaccine certificate will be common across all provinces, and will include the holder’s vaccination history, the date they got it, the type of jab they received and the location where they received their shot. It will be available to all citizens, permanent residents, and temporary residents living in Canada who are fully vaccinated.

And while the passport is being crafted with international travel in mind, the federal government is happy to work with the provinces to use it as a domestic proof-of-vaccination tool, too, ministers said.

“If the provinces wish to work with us in order to use our federal credentials within their province, we would be happy to work with them,” said Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic Leblanc.
