I don't know much but I know it's cheaper to live than a lot of Canadian cities so it's coming up among young people and artistic types. Also, University of Alberta is there and it's a big, good school which is always what you want when you're considering a less popular city.

My roommate from Calgary and mentioned it being pretty cheap out there. It’s mainly white folks but the downtown area is a littttttle hit comparable to Toronto in terms of shyt to do and people. Plus they offer rental electric scooters out therenn no on the street like bixi bikes
