You booked through provincial portal or hospital-run clinic? If it's at a hospital-run clinic, some hospital run clinics (like Centennial in Scarborough) are still electing to give Phizer out until they run out. You can call the clinics and ask.

If you booked through the provincial portal to get your second at a city-run clinic, then you will be getting Moderna. If you need to re-book, do so on Monday before 8 or Wednesday before 8 am. Remember, if you do not want Moderna, pick a location that doesn't say "18+" in the header for the location. 18+ clinics are Moderna only.

i accepted that years ago. i would never buy into the cost of living here long term. and the culture will also shift dramatically as much of the flavor of the city is derived from it's brehs. this place bout to be as soulless as Vancouver without the beauty. just an elite playground.

Id be surprised if Toronto doesn’t try and get alcohol sold in corner stores like Montreal

They tryna make dispensaries the new coffee shop

Word that the Starbucks location on the corner of Queen and Ossington would be turning into a cannabis retail store from Superette has left many people fuming that their beloved city is becoming nothing but a land of condos and dispensaries.

Toronto turning into a rich ghetto.

folks gotta realize that if you don’t make 200k out here at this current moment, you’re pretty much just taking up space in the city. There’s no opportunity for anything unless you leave the GTA completely and that reality will soon hit for a lot of us within the coming years (myself included)

The only thing is where are we all going to work outside of the GTA? There are not a lot of good paying jobs unless you're a contractor.

Moving to another country takes money, and I would need a job. I also have a kid. My wife is a Canadian citizen, but was born in the Philippines. Shes a nurse so she could probably land a job in Texas easily, but the whole process is expensive. Its not just a pick up and go scenario.

Something has to give in the current housing prices are not maintainable. You’d think with the spike in shootings that community housing would get cheaper but its the opposite my aunt who lives in alexandra park will have to leave the city because of the prices.

Apparently the birthday was for the kid of a rapper and his 1yr old got hit instead of him and is in critical rn.

If the kid passes (I pray that doesn’t happen) I want to see how they handle this compared to the yonge street shooting in 05 that killed the 15yr old white girl. In her case the perpetrators where caught swiftly and given life sentences.

He got 13yrs compared to the other situation where they got life sentences. Its very clear they don’t care about black kids getting shot otherwise shooting 2 kids would get you more years then shooting one 15yr old.

Yeah, got my first shot with Trillium Hospital at U Of T Mississauga. Trillium said they'll be emailing updated 2nd dose dates but I haven't gotten anything yet.

Booked my 2nd one through the Ontario site for next week at a Peel location, but saw that they're only offering Moderna next week due to Pfizer supply issues. Gonna reschedule to the week of June 28 and hopefully Pfizer is available
