My sources have told me that Tony has plans to purchase ROH and Cody is going to be put 100% in charge of handling the booking. Expect to hear an announcement the closer we get to Super Card Of Honor.

That's weird, my sources say TK is ponying up health insurance for everyone :lolbron:

What's the point of him buying ROH if he's going to book it like shyt? If it's for the tape library tbsts not a major announcement.

Anyone who gets hyped over the anticipation is truly a mark. :skip:

it's mostly the E stans, these fools are obsessed with TK and AEW :mjlol:

even in the last Raw thread i made a comment on Bianca and Becky's match and some fool quoted me talmbout Riho :gucci:

AEW stay on these nikkas minds, i'm a fan who's actually been to Dynamite in person and don't talk abut AEW half as much as these dudes :russ:

The ROH thing is a head scratcher. Why bother? Maybe to get the tape library but they don't even have a platform to do anything with it. Unless that is Part B of the announcement, a streaming service as well.

ROH makes sense if he's trying to build a tape library for a streaming deal. So many of AEW's stars have a great history with ROH.

I don't see upside in a streaming service, especially a standalone wrestling one. I thought the same about the network too.

You're gonna watch All Out 2019 3 times, a random ROH show and then what? The game's changed since WWE started the network, the move if you aren't NBC is to build library and license the content out, which is what WWE did. But you have to have content, there's no Rock, Austin, Hogan, DX, Ruthless Aggression backlog with AEW and ROH's library ain't helping like WCW helps WWE. And what would you do with footage with current WWE stars in the library?

Who's dropping hundreds of m's on Superkick Party, pre-WWE CM Punk, Nigel McGuinness, Orange Cassidy, and anybody else not from ROH currently in AEW? Poor announcement imo if it's actually that.

I can understand if they have a section on HBOMax but AEW is way too young of a company to be thinking about a standalone streaming service.

My top three guesses are an event co-promoted with NJPW (hopefully restrictions in Japan are easing up), touring outside the US, or buying the ROH tape library (or part of it).
