it was an OK movie

it was a terrible telling of the Godbutcher storyline

they so need to get another director for the next Thor movie- his character has turned into a comedy /parody / deadpool movie

this was really abunch f skits that they strung together - it was like watchign a SNL sketch with VFX

a 5 or 6 out of 10 - this movie was a real disappointment

watch the Notrthman again if you want to see some epic viking storytelling with gods and a character arc.

Yea I saw one of the behind the scene vids that shows her floating in the air and about to transform into Mighty Thor.

Movie could have used 15 more mins.
i didn't even understand the passage of time there. Mjolnir pieces vibrate, then boom we cut to battle scene, Valkrye seems to know her well and Jane is a badass Thor. it's crazy to me that they couldn't have even salvaged 1 additional scene of her and 1 of Gorr. movie would have benefitted so much. you didn't even need to cut anything else if you were that hellbent to keep all the other stuff. the decision making in post covid mcu has been fukkin baffling. i expect BP2 to be as fukked up. How the fukk are they gonna handle honoring T'Challa plus Shuri taking over plus war with Namor in 2 hours? And then you've got 3 more huge movies in Guardians, Antman and Marvels coming too. could get even uglier and sloppier.

Wow.

I was going to enjoy this movie alone during an afternoon showing, but I’m seriously wondering if it’s worth it.

I don’t really like Thor and them space brehs and I don’t like the comedic elements of Marvel films and based on the trailer they trying to come with them jokes again.

Guess I’ll pass.

yeah this movie pulls out quite a few quippy and cringe-worthy moments of humour.

but as a summer flick, there a bit of action scenes to water it down and i remember actually enjoying it (outside of the last scene) :manny:

Just seen it and yeah it's mid, but I did enjoy the final act. The humor was mostly trash and this movie was probably too short as well, but people are going to hard on it. I like this about as much as I liked Ragnarok.

Seeing Eternity was dope as fukk tho. Didn't expect it to look exactly like the comics. That was really good

And are they ever gonna give Thor true happiness? They keep killing off people he loves. Like is his curse to survive every battle, but his loved ones will perish? Outside of Sif, everyone close to him has been taken away. MCU has been bad to him just like Hulk.
