Maybe they fukked up the math, there was a time that if a movie did $350M+ that was a blockbuster and booming success (Ala Sonic and Uncharted)

Now are we really at a point where they can do $800M+ (counting) and it’s looked at as meh or “just a good number”?

Nah. The movies are just not that good. Same shyt happening in Star Wars too. They made some new girl all powerful to holy hell and made luke skywalker moody and petty on some remote island somewhere. Drinking green cow milk. Everybody fed up. Just give people what they want. I know a lot of people who saw Spiderman opening night and saw it again that saturday including me in ImAX. Thats damn near $50 ..$100 for me cuz i had a date 1st time. Thats when you know a movie good. Dr strange i was ready to walk out when they had that man walking thru the multiverse crying about his old girlfriend while reality falling apart around him.

But just sometimes our personal experiences don’t translate to reality or what “it really is”

I saw this movie twice

I only saw Spiderman NWH once

Then I know some coli brehs (plural) that didn’t even go to the theater to see The Batman but saw Sonic 2 times.

Our “personal experiences” are just THAT, and everyone wants different things. It’s hard to please everyone. But I really hear you
