the tv theaters are dying...they no longer have that big monster weekend they used to have with the rare exceptions. TV (especially premium channels) is a guaranteed revenue stream on a monthly basis...TV theaters should think about adopting that business model, but this a la carte paying $50 per flick when you take a chick is just simply not the wave anymore for young kids.
Hell, most of them are on the phone about half the movie anyway

Did anyone notice that the Captain referred to Algernon as "our boy" when he was talking to the maid in the Dining room scene? Then she called him "our Algernon" when she replied to him? It hit me a minute later, and I had to rewind the scene.

Caught up and I am starting to like this show. From the soundtrack the way the show is filmed that helps a lot with mood and atmosphere. The racism on this show is painful as fukk to watch because it is over 100 years ago so you know it was some fukked up shyt. I enjoy that Ewards is doing his own thing if the doctors will not let him work with them but it was painful to watch him lose a patient after such a successful operation. Makes me appreciate the healthcare system we have now even though it is not perfect. Also I am still at a wait and see if Thakery is racist or not. He could be racist and practical or just defending his racist friend. Either way this is a great show and will continue to watch.
