The sadness on Noah’s face in the shytty motel room, drinking the Moet and not being in the wedding. Dominic West played that real well. It gave me the :mjcry: in real life. You could feel that emotion, all the sadness that led up to that moment. It was one of the best scenes of the whole season (perhaps series)

then Helen going to meet Noah in his room :mjcry:

Sookie’s whole character rubbed me the wrong way, but I guess that’s the point :yeshrug:

that reveal with who the epigeneticst scientist really was:ohhh:

I’m still mad that Ruth Wilson left the show. The writers and the rest of the cast made season 5 a great one though :salute:

side note, Whitney is such a fukking bytch :whew:

I like this #metoo exploration. Very well done. I haven’t seen this level of exploration on the topic before. All sides discussed and timely too :ehh:

I look forward to the final episodes :lupe:
I was mad at them basically just dropping this whole storyline. Between this and the relationship with Janell, and Sookie storyline they wasted a lot of time that could've been better used. With that said I did love at how complex of a story they painted with the whole MeToo situation and didn't just paint it as black and white type of ordeal.

I thought the season was weak as hell for the first half of the season but the last 4-5 episodes were great.

I agree, after I finished the last episode, I was like, what happened with the Noah #metoo shyt? They didn't even address it; nothing at all :heh:

And yeah, the Sookie storyline was just a waste of time. The only things interesting about it were meeting an older Noah and confronting Ben about killing Allison. But, those things were like 10 minutes max. I guess it was a good idea in theory, in that we can find out what happened to the characters after Whitney's wedding, but it wasn't executed in the best manner.

It is nice to have Noah and Helen back together. It actually is a perfect ending in my mind. The show started with Noah and Helen together, and it ended with them together as well. The affair with Allison was just that, an affair

they really ended this show beautifully. The writing was great this last season. Didn't like the acting from Joanie. I think I just don't like Anna Panquin in general, she's not believable anytime I've seen her in something. Don't know how she gets work.

Thanks to Corona, I stayed in this weekend and decided to finish this. I saw like two episodes of the final season and stopped. Finially came back to this weeked. The Joanie storyline was eh, but necessary to close out the Alison storyline. They did the best they could with the two main characters for that arc refusing to come back to the show. Eventhough he's self-destructive, I felt for Noah. Sasha straight :birdman: Noah's writing credit and Helen had me :fire: I also was :mjcry: at a couple parts. I really thought Noah was going to commit suicide twice. Once during the wild fires and then before the wedding. The show had a satisfying ending. The wedding dance was :stylin:. Overall the first two seasons was classic, the rest were good or great. Show definitely ended on a high note
