That was my first time seeing Tiafoe play. He's competitive as hell and has heart. Maybe there's finally a light at the end of the tunnel for US men's tennis.

Good game Tiefoe, but he really shyt the bed too much for my liking in the 5th, he had a real chance at winning...

But Pella had match points vs Fed at wimby 7 years back. Was hoping for a match point for Tiafoe to really see what he's made of.

Pliskova might be WOAT #1 in history

Yea i think Gibbs ran outta gas but Pliskova seems very vulnerable then again she did beat Serena last year in the US Open only to get beat by Kerber in the finals so who knows. Depends on which Pliskova shows up from match to match. :manny:

She could see another American tho in the round of 16 as i see an unranked Jennifer Brady advanced to the third round after beating 23rd ranked Barbora Strycova.
