Fed leads Stan in the H2H 18-3... and those 3 losses were all on clay. I know tennis is on the day but I make Fed quite a big favorite :yeshrug:

Yeah, Stan is just one of those players though. I remember the 2 times he fukked Novak over in Major finals when I thought Novak would wipe him out.

Based on form, Stan is the SLIGHT favorite. If Stanimal shows up and he starts GOATing, there's absolutely nothing Fed can do.

If Fed is serving well, Stan will be in trouble

Rafa is through in straights.

I'll say this, Raonic can win a GS in the future

Really impressed by Rafa. Should beat Grigor and I think he'll be so hungry that he'll take the final, this tournament is his to lose.

And if he wins French for 10 wins there :wow:

If he wins these next 2 majors, he will be 1 behind Federer.

I can see Federer taking him here in AO if they meet.

I just looked at the live ATP piints race for 2017, him and Fed have SHOT up in the rankings. Fed has defended his points from his AO result last year and Rafa has gained a shyt load of points since he went out in R1 last year.

Grigor has been playing great this year so im not overlookong him but Rafa has only 2 career losses in the SF's of a Slam so i think he senses THIS is his best shot of a non clay Slam w/o having to go through Novak.

Fed and Stan HAS to go 5 sets, we need them to give us a classic. They havent yet

I can't take a Federer loss to Nadal in a major final in 2017. This is probably how Peyton stans felt in last year's AFC title game. :lupe:

I think mentally he will be in a better place should he and Rafa make it to the finals. Not saying that he would beat Rafa, I still would favor Rafa based on the styles match up, but I dont see him folding mentally like he normally does against Rafa.

Gosh man i got a feeling Venus gonna come uo short against Coco and ruin our dream final.

The Australian Ooen needs to stop with having their semifinals played on diff days....it's TERRIBLE scheduling

Fed almost always loses to Nadal because he takes extra risks and he hasn't been prime Fed in sharpness in a long time. His unforced errors are always through the roof against Nadal (Djokovic too in his later years). From what I've been able to watch, he's had longer hot streaks in this tournament than he's had in a while and he was fresh in the fifth set again Zverev, which I haven't seen from Fed in God knows how long.

In short, all that time off was good for him and I agree, I think he'll have a good shot.

And then he'll get waxed in straight sets since I said this. :sadcam:

Rafa's FH against Fed's 1HBH. Story of their rivalry. Rafa pounds it to Roger's backhand
