Rafa is through in straights.
I'll say this, Raonic can win a GS in the future

Fed leads Stan in the H2H 18-3... and those 3 losses were all on clay. I know tennis is on the day but I make Fed quite a big favorite![]()
Yeah, Stan is just one of those players though. I remember the 2 times he fukked Novak over in Major finals when I thought Novak would wipe him out.

Really impressed by Rafa. Should beat Grigor and I think he'll be so hungry that he'll take the final, this tournament is his to lose.
And if he wins French for 10 wins there![]()

I can't take a Federer loss to Nadal in a major final in 2017. This is probably how Peyton stans felt in last year's AFC title game.![]()
Fed almost always loses to Nadal because he takes extra risks and he hasn't been prime Fed in sharpness in a long time. His unforced errors are always through the roof against Nadal (Djokovic too in his later years). From what I've been able to watch, he's had longer hot streaks in this tournament than he's had in a while and he was fresh in the fifth set again Zverev, which I haven't seen from Fed in God knows how long.I think mentally he will be in a better place should he and Rafa make it to the finals. Not saying that he would beat Rafa, I still would favor Rafa based on the styles match up, but I dont see him folding mentally like he normally does against Rafa.
Rafa's FH against Fed's 1HBH. Story of their rivalry. In short, all that time off was good for him and I agree, I think he'll have a good shot.
And then he'll get waxed in straight sets since I said this.
