Stan is finding his rhythm.

I love 1HBH players and when Stan's is on and he's not playing like a clown, he is :wow: to watch

It's funny watching Nishikori and Ferrer play because Kei is a Novak clone and Ferrer (outside of not having the topspin forehand) is a Rafa clone but they don't have the PHYSICAL tools of Rafa and Novak :heh:

its funny how far Joker has come, I remember when he didnt even understand sarcasm and everybody was talkin about him stretching his chest after every point because of breathing problems

The one hand backhand is always :banderas:

Kei's closer to Novak than Ferrer is to Nadal. Just doesn't have the same reach. I'd like to see him in the final over Stan for this tournament.

Everyone's forgotten all the clown shyt he used to do early in his career. Retiring and making up injuries on the regular; always folded when the pressure came. The light switched on in 2011 and it's like he became a different person.

If you like Novak, you damn right prefer Kei in the final over Stan. Stan would get to the final and start GOATing like his previous slam final wins

Nah bruh, Novak has passed em imo. Only thing he has of significance over Novak is more slams....and that's gonna go away next year

14 Grand Slams
Olympic Singles Gold
Olympic Doubles Gold
4 Davis Cups
28 Masters 1000
69 Singles Titles
Career Golden Slam
Most Titles at One Slam
At least 2 Slams on each surface (only he and Wilander have achieved this)
10 Consecutive years with a Slam (a record I can't see been beaten)
Slams on Clay, Grass and Hard in same year.
3 yr end no.1 finishes.
141 weeks at no.1

9-2 in Slams against Federer
9-4 in Slams against Djokovic
7-2 in Slams against Murray

Not to mention he has had so many injuries/surgeries/setbacks in his career that have usually come when he was at his peak that has cost so many more titles.

Rafa = True GOAT

:francis: Just went to twitter to see if the match was starting at 7 like I thought. Instead, I'm greeted with Kerber's W.

:mjlol:

US open finals were never in prime time, unless there was a rain delay.

This match was typical WTA quality. pliskova moved around the court like :manny:, hated her lack of movement/1st serve compared to the match with serena, was like night & day:scust:

Kerber... who'd a thunk it, a legit #1, not the safina/woz type :ehh:

Ferrer doesn't have it shot wise, physically he's worn down Rafa a few times but I see where your going.

Kei is like 08 (after AO)-10 nole, can be lights out in spots but too many MTO's, injuries and inconsistencies physically and mentally.
