It's really gonna come down to the majors. Serena has a lot of ranking points to defend because she won last years FO, Wimby and a semi in the US open.

Kerber on the other hand has a lot to gain because her results in the same majors were 3rd rd, 3rd rd, 3rd rd.

So serena has to avoid early exits in those, or she's in trouble.

It would be a shame for that streak to be snapped while being so close.
