You could argue that gettting down in the first place shows lack of mental toughness as much as fighting back shows it(when you're the better player)

How so ? Kerber was playing better than her the whole 3rd set so it's logical for Serena to be down at this point. Relatively speaking, today, Kerber was the better player so Serena being able to fight back was her being mentally tough while she technically poor. I don't get where you guys wanna go with that one because Serena's mental is actually her best weapon and is stated so by everybody in the game.

No one's saved more match points in Grand Slams than Serena, you're mad weird trying to bring bullshyt feminism into this. She's 35/36, a dinosaur in tennis terms, she (along with Fed) would be retired in any other era let alone still at the top of the game. How when the #1 finishes the 2015 seaso with 16000 ranking points?

How when the same guy wins 9 Master's titles in a single season?
