I don't understand why #1 & #3 are playing in the Semis. I mean, of course Djokovic/Federer is what we wanna see, but in a tournament format, I always figured that 1/4 would be on one side, and 2/3 on the other. With the way they worked it here, Nole kinda got screwed being the top seed. I doubt it matters, as I don't see Fed or anyone else beating him, but still.

In the grand slams where the 3 and 4 seeds are bracketed is always random (Trust me it's fixed)

I got a

Federer vs Raonic Final

Federer is going to junk ball Nole into errors and mistakes.

theres a selection process

serena also drew giorgi rd 1 fwiw. that wouldnt make sense either if the process didnt follow from usta policy to some degree

same thing in high level jr tourneys here. can apply and register and its supposed to be top 24 or whatever given number it is but ultimately if the exact top 24 dont all apply then its manual selection from wait list..then seeding is done based on amount in tournament and it is "randomized" amongst the players not seeded. so technically, someone ranked 50 could be selected off the wait list then play the worst seed round 1. even worse, if there is a withdrawal within a certain time period that wouldnt affect seeding...the director can call whoever on the list last second (usually someone they are biased to) and slot them into the position of the withdrawn player OR re-randomize the draw due to the unaffected seeding. more room for bias there and can easily be manipulated and timed so a top ranked player that cannot gain more points based on what they have accumulated can register..co-ordinate with an unaccepted friend..withdraw in the time period and refer the person on the wait list and get them in..then that player can jump up from really 10-30 spots in the ranks if they show well when they didnt even deserve to be in the thing in the first place compared to people who were ranked before them but unfairly left out.

if this happens when very little money, coverage and with untalented players playing, imagine what happens on the major stage

Kerber playing no games. She gonna break your forehand with her backhand.

And that's match.

Cmon Fed ... win one more :damn:

I dont dislike Novak, but I really want to see Fed exorcise some demons and beat him, and take another major

Hes been playing so well the past few years, especially considering his age, he deserves another major
