yeah, I always was surprised to see him win wimbledon twice (with 5 finals total) and uso twice (3 finals total) with that type of game he has. for a long time, people predicted he would only shine on clay. and to be honest I kinda was upset that he didn't struggled more to achieve the career gran slam.
I mean the greatest from back in the days always had one slam they couldnt win (lendl with wimbly, connor and mcenroe with rg, borg with uso) and federer had to wait till his fifth final to grab french open and djokovic also didn't win rg despite his status. I remember as soon as nadal really focused to win uso he won it immediatly that year. I wished it wasn't so soon and like the others gave us time to even wonder if he was gonna make it. evrey gran slam victory from that point was considered bonus to me, well he didn't won the masters yet
