Damn, I don't even follow tennis like that anymore
Didn't know it was about to start...
monte carlo has been great and horrible at the same time
great in that it was a great draw and gave great matchups but horrible because all those matches pretty much sucked
nadal vs ferrer was amazing today though, seeing ferrer play at his peak and work nadal was incredible. he doesn't have the power for easy points or the gymnast skills to just push until there's an error, just plain effort and high tennis skill, and he was owning nadal everywhere 2nd half of that 2nd set. you just don't see that ever. constantly awesome points.
top half obviously was always the strongest, lol @ monf/berdych m1000 semifinal, monfils better fukking win i tell you that much. and djokovic/nadal in 2015 is probably the most interesting match of the year so far.
and most miportant of all, fukk cilic. such a one-slam clown its ridiculous. at least stan and roddikk have been in some epic matches and had other slam chances, cilic won't even make the QF rest of his career. nishikori really shouldve won the USO and it would've been one of the best runs ever in a major

Nadal has finally managed to find his best form of the year in the 2nd set and blasted Berdych off the court
The roar of appreciation for his level by the crowd at the end was a great scary thing, its what I imagine a roar at the Roman Colosseum would sound like after gladiator fights

Ill make my judgement on Rafa after Rome next Sunday
You never know. The great thing about the sport is you may be a better player but on that day if you run into a hot confident player that could be your ass. Look what happened with Soderling. Look what happened to Serena with Petra yesterday or Maria with Sveta. The point is you could be playing ok and have a lopsided head to head and lose rather easily.

Breh, its berdych... on clay... he was bound to be dusted by somebody not named Roger on clay. He flopped the tiebreak, then bent over like a good mental misfit does.
Djoko is the Serena of the ATP right now (even though she lost recently). Even tourney he's in (that matters, 250's ehh) he's been winning comfortably and should continue to do so.
That being said, the young guns gotta step up eventually, right?
