probably the most attractive match in years

crazy how fed can control tsonga like that (#10) but make the jump up to #3 and he looks like a nervous wreck

i wanna see federer/ferrer one of these days but the way the rank works out they never face each other..

:mjlol:

Seems like it.
Ferrer is underrated and people actually think he's only a clay player but on hardcourt and indoor, he's actually really efficient above all when he relentlessly attacks with his forehand. When he beat Nadal at Bercy last year, his level was really high and in the final against Djoker if he didn't choke both sets when he was a break up, he'd have two Bercy under his belt. Ferrer has really improved these past years and he is surprisingly for me a real balanced player. So Ferrer VS Federer would be really interesting IMO. I'd have Federer in 3, Ferrer in 5 and can't really decide who would win in a 4 setter.

More like a shytty 3 setter that Mr. Consistent could've won, but didn't.

You really thought Ferrer could beat federer? Lopez has a better chance today than Ferrer EVER will.
You highlighted the following : "So Ferrer VS Federer would be really interesting IMO" which was true. Yesterday, Fed only won in 3 and match was difficult therefore an interesting match.

In early 2014, Fed was losing to Hewitt in his first finals and he was not at his best. Ferrer had a fire late 2013 when he reached 3 finals in a row (tho he didn't do shyt in the Masters finals) and when he should've won the BNP Paribas Masters. All of that while reaching his best ranking ever.

Objectively, the match up would have been interesting and Ferrer could have won yes, that was my opinion. He was also on a losing streak against Rafa on clay and finally overcome his choking to beat Rafa at Monte-Carlo this year. That happens.

Truth be told, Fed/Rafa matches do the same thing, but we know that match-up always results in Rafa winning. This is the same shyt. No matter how interesting or difficult it may seem, the outcome is the same.

Did I say otherwise ? I never said Ferrer would win but he could win... You're arguing for the sake of it by digging a 6 month old post and highlighting me saying the match would be interesting which is/was true ffs.
