Why is the men's final on Monday?

1. us open only major that makes men play SF/F in consecutive days. "super saturday" had mens sf at noon and womens f at night.. there were complaints

2. BUT... weather forced the mens final to be pushed back anyway... the past 5 years

the culprit here is us open and their night sessions, so they spread the mens 1st round over 3 days when everyone else does it in 2, makes up for it with back-to-back SF/F

decided to go 'fukk it' and make it monday anyway
