With the new racquet he will acquire a little more power but will lose accuracy in the process. Considering dude seems kinda outta shape and moves like a truck, I don't really think this will get better for him, unfortunately. Unlike Haas who's relatively fresh for his age because he had many injuries during his career, Fed player the last 10 years at 100% (well almost), maybe that's just fatigue now. Plus, he has 2 kids so his mind might not be on tennis at 100%.
And now that he lost the King Haki and nobody is mentally losing matches against him before they start, Fed gotta rely on guts, heart and envy (which he seems to have lost) in addition to his talent. The last few years, he wasn't used to struggle against top100 players : skills and aura were enough to kill opponents. But these days, it's too hard for him to win just by doing what he used to do, so he has to fight his way to victory and I'm not sure he enjoys that.
