Unfortunately yes. Right now Venus is pretty much done. I am completely confident in saying she will never come close to winning another major again. The women's game is lopsided with the front runner for majors being Serena and everyone else. Viky is going to be around for a long time and Serena is going to be there for at least the next couple years to keep her tally low but once Serena leaves I wouldn't be surprised to see her take over completely. Of course nobody knows if there is going to be another powerhouse in the next couple of years to blow all of this up but I don't see it.

I don't know if she's better than Steffi though...she won every grand slam at least 4 times

I'd put Serena over Martina though.

if the two played a match in their primes, Serena is winning.

Steffi will end up more accomplished, but she not handling Serena's power.

as far as Serena being the best ever.. I'd like to think that.. I do think it

but Stephi and Martina are right there. The tennis rackets are so much better than the ones they played with. Its a tough call.. The speed they are able to generate with these rackets is just way better.

Martina and stephi had better ball placement. They could drop a ball on the opponents side anywhere with precision. dominant net games too..

Serena is the best ever. Put this into perspective:

Since she won her 1st Grand Slam up until today, in between then she missed NINE grand slam events during that time period and TEN grand slams total. Not saying she would of won all 10 of those, but there's no was reason to believe she wouldn't have won at least 5 of those
