Draper serves Carlitos a breadstick in the first set
Looking like it’s gettin returned this set

His serve has declined and he seems to have declined physically a bit tooMidvedev is cooked as a contender on the tour
Gatekeeper at best now
Iga isn't liked like that
In truth she's not very likeable
Credit to Andreeva though, she's the real deal.
It doesn't sound like she has friends on tour. Same with Qinwen.
Not even talking bout that. You would think the more known, more accomplished player would have more support. It's also not like Mirra is some out of nowhere player on an otherworldly run where the crowd gets behind her as the underdog...she's a prodigy putting it altogether. So I think this ties into this next point.
Yea...I think unlikeable is a bit strong but she definitely isn't someone that I get the sense other WTA are in a rush to hang wit.
He has multiple unforgivable offenses in my book. #2 in my personal record book, behind gifting Nadal the 2022 AO, is playing the match of his life against Alcaraz in the 2023 USO semis.Midvedev is cooked as a contender on the tour

He was on his second serve for 90% of the match lol. Bad loss imo, second straight to Draper. He didn't step on his throat like Sinner when he had the momentum.Alcaraz ain't as invincible on hard court anymore...that serve need some serious reworking

Don't think his serve can get so much better at his heightAlcaraz ain't as invincible on hard court anymore...that serve need some serious reworking

edit: Carlos beat him in AO, not 2 straight, my fault
Alcaraz does not have a killer instinct right now; his focus isn't consistently where it needs to be.Don't think his serve can get so much better at his height
He's struggling more on fast hard courts, he's better on slower courts
Missed opportunity to win three times in a row, Alcaraz may have higher highs than Sinner but he's not as consistent match to match

He had more to prove then. It's crazy cause I feel like he was more consistent/maybe even better 3 years ago (2022)
He had more to prove then.
It's still kinda nitpicky because he won the Channel Slam last year but obviously, there's worrying signs on hard courts and potentially the other two with the way his play yo-yo's during a match.
I would still take his peak over anyone in the game but he doesn't hit it as often as he should.
It's also worth noting that he's still ahead of The Big 3 pace and only 21.
