I'll go on the record and say he's gonna be the third guy with Sinner and Alcaraz. I like his game and I have high expectations for him at Wimbledon and the US Open this year.

He's gonna be the one who breaks the drought in New York.
Nah

He struggles on the tour and there's nothing really watertight in his game despite it looking good on the surface.

Forehand leaks loads of errors, backhand is average, return of serve isn't good enough. His serve is a weapon but let's him down when it counts, currently overrated serve.

Sinner tried to hand him that 1st set and he choked it away.

At this rate he won't be up there with Sinner and Alcaraz at all

He's young so he can definitely still make the leap .... but yeah rn he's a contender at best

Next few years are key all these guys like AA, Shapo etc had a spark when they started

I back Fils over Shelton tbh

Rune is another that looks like he won't he one of the true top dogs, too much inconsistency and poor stamina

We gotta get the WTA stan banter up close to ATP levels :mjlol:

Also on another note I'm not surprised that players have been crashing out w/the Aussie media this year tbh It's been a long time coming; I've never been and I'm sure it's a wonderful country, but I've heard several parties comment on the toxic media culture there and how they're habitual line steppers

The talk about Djokovic only winning because people think this era is weak is absurd and tiresome.

It’s mainly Fed stans that won’t accept the fact that he was clearly surpassed years ago and there’s really not an argument against that.

Djokovic was clearly injured as well. You have to be blind to think otherwise.:manny:.

I’m disappointed that he bailed but he is 38, can’t really hold this one against him that much. Put it this way, the other 38 year old guy in the field who had an awesome run of his own retired too lol.

All I know is Roger Federer never retired during a match. I don't wanna hear about level of competition or amount of majors won either.

Sunday might be the best chance that Zverev will ever have to capture a Grand Slam final. He’ll be fully rested that’s for sure.
